Editorial independence
Commission does not decide what we recommend. No manufacturer pays for placement on this site, and no manufacturer has editorial input. Where a product is the wrong choice for a reader, we say so, including when it is a product we link to elsewhere.

Testing and product claims
ReefReadyGear does not currently run a hands-on testing programme. We do not publish invented star ratings, test scores, durability findings, bestseller rankings or characterisations of customer review sentiment. Specifications come from manufacturers and authorised retailers and are cited on the pages that use them. Our judgements about which product suits which angler are presented as editorial judgement, which is what they are.
Privacy
